The spring mount on the Assassin traction bar is nicely welded and, as you can see in the photos, it offers multiple shock absorber locations, ahead of and behind the rear axle. This allows the bar to fit staggered shock combinations or custom shock locations (where you've moved the shocks to clear the tires).

THE 405 Posts 1,332 Smith Racecraft Assassin Traction Bars Smith Racecraft has come up with another alternative to Cal-Tracs for us truck guys. It's their Assassin bars that are on many of the 7 second drag radial and other small tire cars around the country. The adjustment on these things is unreal!

My main question is Assassin traction bars or Caltracs traction bars? There are several holes in a couple of locations for additional adjustability for the Assassin bars, gusseted TIG welds, built in tie down loops, and they are said to have greater leverage than the Caltracs bars. The Assassin bars are maybe 3/4 to 1" lower at the closest.
