Zoro and Perona are not in love, and their relationship can be described as friendly at best. They started off as enemies when we first saw them, but after spending two years together with Dracule Mihawk, they have become a lot closer and have since become friends or something along the line of friends.

Zoro needs more scars first. Sure right now she might find him attractive but his personality doesn't work well with the ghost princess. Yeah the personalities balance each other as shown through the two year time skip where they started farming, cooking, and cleaning as a group. But Perona would need to find him irresistible first.

The Mihawk thing is crazier then Perona. Imagine spending two years with the guy who is literally the person you have to beat to achieve your dream. He also spent more time with Zoro and Perona's child too. By this logic we should see way more Zoro X Perona fanfiction than we do.
