Austin Morris Van and Pick up. BL used the Marina as the basis for a new Austin/Morris van and pick-up. Launched in 1972 the vans were originally badged as Austin or Morris. By 1975, some badges said 'Austin Morris'. There was a 7cwt (seven hundred weight) and a 10cwt van and a pick-up. All three were based on the Morris Marina body.

In 2014 the pick-up was purchased by a Mr Page where it joined what is most likely the largest collection of Morris Marina's in existence, most of which were Marina commercials. The collection had amassed to over 100 vehicles, 40 of which were Marina's, and still to this day includes the famous Ford Capri 2.0S and Daimler Sovereign 4.2.

The Morris Marina is a front-engined, rear-wheel-drive small family car that was manufactured by the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland from 1971 until 1980. It served to replace the Morris Minor in the Morris product line, which had first been built in 1948.

The featured car is a 1973 1.8TC Coupe-pretty much at the top of the Marina tree, and powered by the 1.8 litre twin-carburettor B series engine, direct from the MGB, with virtually the same exhaust note. The green saloon in the second and third pictures from the top is a 1972 1.3 deluxe, a much more basic expression of the Marina range.
